Being the UK’s only accrediting body to specialise in training for each member of the lorry loader lifting team, as well as managers, instructors and engineers, ALLMI’s courses are approved by CSCS and delivered to the highest standard.
ALLMI’s training objectives are:
- To ensure that standards and qualifications for all instructors are in place, consistent and maintained through auditing.
- To ensure that all managers, instructors and lorry loader lifting team members receive the highest standard of training, enabling the undertaking of their duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- To offer competitive and nationally recognised training programmes for managers, instructors, engineers, and all lorry loader lifting team members.
The content of ALLMI’s training programmes is developed and maintained by the ALLMI Training Standards Committee, members of which include representatives from leading loader crane manufacturers / importers, as well as the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
ALLMI training is the UK’s only lorry loader scheme to be commended by the HSE. It is also recognised by Build UK and approved by CSCS.
Certificates and identity cards are valid for five years, after which time refresher training and assessments will need to be undertaken.
