Slinger / Signaller Training

Instructor Accreditation

In order to become accredited by ALLMI to deliver the Slinger / Signaller course, you must first be ALLMI accredited for providing lorry loader training. Click here for information on ALLMI Instructor accreditation. Once this has been achieved, you must:

  • Hold a current ALLMI Slinger / Signaller qualification.
  • Request the course documents from ALLMI. All Instructors will be supplied with Instructor notes, assessment papers and a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Undergo an audit on the first course you deliver. Once you have familiarised yourself with the course content and you have arranged your first course, you will need to contact ALLMI so that an auditing visit can be arranged.  Please note, it must be your very first course that is audited.  It is advisable that you arrange your first course date in conjunction with ALLMI so that the availability of an ALLMI auditor can be ensured.  Please note, this audit will be charged at £320 (regardless of the number of Instructors your company has accredited by ALLMI) and that only one Instructor can be audited on one day.  Upon successful completion of the audit, you will be issued with an ALLMI Instructor card and certificate confirming your accreditation for delivering Slinger / Signaller training.

For every Instructor registering for ALLMI Slinger / Signaller Accreditation, there will be a charge of £55 to cover the costs of course materials and administration.
