ALLMI has released its loader crane industry sales figures for the second half of 2019, completing market statistics for the full year. The figures show an impressive industry performance, with strong sales across a range of sectors and overall growth of approximately 8% against the previous year.
ALLMI has collated the results of its recent Membership Satisfaction Survey. The Association’s Marketing Officer, Fiona Parnell, comments “We are very grateful to the large number of members that participated and have been delighted with the responses. The results show an extremely high level of satisfaction amongst members and also gave us valuable feedback in terms of how we can further develop services and products for the good of the industry.”

Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, many ALLMI training providers are unable to engage in course delivery at present, or are having to limit the number of courses they supply. This is, therefore, likely to result in an increased number of expired ALLMI cards circulating within the industry. Due to these unprecedented and exceptional circumstances, ALLMI’s stance is aligned with that of CSCS on this matter by requesting that those responsible for site access and card checking use their discretion towards workers whose cards have recently expired. This is on the condition they can provide evidence that the required refresher training / assessment cannot be undertaken as a result of training provider closures. This stance is also supported by Build UK.
