New Guidance Under Development

Continually looking to build upon its comprehensive library of Guidance Notes, ALLMI currently has a number of documents under development, as well as plans to produce several more in 2018.

ALLMI Technical Manager, Keith Silvester, comments “At present, we’re working on Guidance Notes covering lone working, on-site risk assessment for mobile engineers, and the requirements for loader cranes mounted to water-borne vessels.  As is the case with all Guidance Notes published by ALLMI, the development of these documents is a direct result of engaging with members and ensuring that we are continually in touch with the evolving needs of the lorry loader industry.”

He continues “Our projects for next year include Guidance Notes for kerbside deliveries, employee monitoring in relation to lifting team members, and thorough examination of cranes with specialist applications.”

Should you wish to contribute ideas for the above documents, or if you have suggestions for guidance on other lorry loader related topics, then please contact ALLMI.  To view the full range of ALLMI Guidance Notes, please click here.
